When should I arrive?
Doors are open 15 minutes before each class. Please arrive with enough time to get yourself changed and settled. If you are able to set up an account with us before here coming into the studio, that can help make your first visit more seamless. We lock the exterior doors once class has started, so if you are more than 5 minutes late, you will not be able to take class. If you are running up to 5 minutes behind, please call our number below to let us know you are coming. Thank you for your understanding!
Where can I leave my personal items?
We have lockers for use while you are here. Please bring your own lock. We also have plenty of space to hang coats and leave shoes while you are practicing. We ask that you leave personal items outside of the practice space to minimize disruptions.
What can I expect?
Every class at HUM is designed to be accessible for all levels, whether you are new to movement or have been practicing for years. We believe your practice should honor your body’s needs each day, and we encourage you to listen and adjust as you go. Our teachers offer options and variations so you can find what feels best for you, without pressure to push beyond your limits.
Every class is different, but you can get a sense of our current class offerings here. Some classes might be more energizing, others more grounding. We meet you where you are and support your growth in a way that feels meaningful and respectful to your unique body and experience.
We ask that the yoga room remain a quiet space with no phone use, so everyone can fully focus and feel present. Feel free to chat in our community area, where you can enjoy complimentary Well Rooted tea, books, and puzzles. If you would like extra time to settle in, you are welcome to arrive early and head to your mat whenever you are ready.
Where can I park?
We are located at the intersection of Marshall St. NE and Lowry Ave. There is free street parking on both streets, just be mindful of any parking restrictions. We also have a (free!) surface level parking lot located behind the building— enter from Grand St. If you are riding bike to the studio, there are bike racks located in near the front and back entrances.
