Fall + Winter Clothing Swap

Saturday, October 25th | 11:30am-2pm Free

Bring gently used fall and winter pieces and trade them for something new to you. It’s a simple, sustainable way to refresh your wardrobe while connecting with others in the community. Everyone is welcome to shop, browse, or just hang out.

We’ll begin collecting items for the clothing swap on Friday October 10th through Monday October 20th. You can drop off any fall or winter clothing you’re ready to part with, then join us on Saturday, October 25th for the clothing swap! Bring what you can, take what you love, and any unclaimed items will be donated to support those in need. Everything at the clothing swap is FREE! Please bring your own reusable bag :)

November 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th

For the month of November, we are so excited to have donation-based classes every Wednesday from 4:30-5:30pm. YouthLink serves young people ages 16-24 experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the Twin Cities. Kits will be assembled in December.

These Hatha classes are intended for any level of practice and pay-what-you can. You can purchase your class online at $5, $10, $15, or $20 or pay by cash or card upon arrival. Pre-registration is recommended as spots are first-come, first-served.

Sounds of Himalaya:

A Meditative Sound Experience with ShaamaahS

Sunday, November 30th | 5pm-7pm

$45 for HUM members | $50 non-members

RSVP

We’re deeply honored and so fortunate to have ShaamaahS back to HUM to guide us through this immersive sound experience! ShaamaahS is a project developed to perform a unique style of ambient music involving Tuvan Throat Singing, Evocative Mantra, Bansuri Flute, and Subtle Symphonic Soundscapes.

Sound Meditation is very prominent these days, and it can help us achieve focus and rediscover our inner awareness. As humans we are walking energy, vibrating at multiple frequencies. This “Oscillating Prana” performance engages the subtle energy body and allows for a person to truly immerse themselves with the music, simply by being present with it. In a world full of distraction, sound offers a powerful way to ground, refocus, and return to your own wisdom.

Whether you're new to sound healing or a longtime seeker, this evening is a chance to pause, listen deeply, and honor the teacher within. We’ll have blankets, bolsters, blocks, and mats available for you to get comfortable. Feel free to bring anything from home to help you settle in even more.

Space is limited and registration is required. Our events are thoughtfully prepared and led by passionate facilitators. To respect their time and commitment, tickets are non-refundable. All levels welcome.

Restorative postures will be held for 10-20 minutes with invitations of support from yoga props. This will be a quiet and still practice with music, meant to deeply relax the body, mind, and spirit. Massage will be done in postures intuitively for each person to allow for deep release and restoration. Some places that may be targeted are the neck, shoulders, back, hips, hands, and feet. We welcome you to some deep care.
