Restorative Yoga + Massage

Sundays from 5:30-7:30pm

October 18th | January 17th | March 14th

at HUM Yoga + Barre

This student-favorite series continues!

Join us for an evening of Restorative Yoga, nourishing touch, and divine relaxation. Sarah Walker is a Certified Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor based in the Twin Cities and will guide you through a dreamy and supportive restorative practice while offering massage and hands-on adjustments while you are in the postures.

Restorative postures will be held for 10-20 minutes with invitations of support from yoga props. This will be a quiet and still practice with music, meant to deeply relax the body, mind, and spirit. Massage will be done in postures intuitively for each person to allow for deep release and restoration. Some places that may be targeted are the neck, shoulders, back, hips, hands, and feet. We welcome you to some deep care.

This class is $50 or $45 for members. Space is limited to 10 people so please register in advance to reserve your spot. Our events are thoughtfully prepared and led by passionate facilitators. To respect their time and commitment, tickets are non-refundable. All levels are welcome.

Supple Shoulders: Functional Movement, Release, and Stretch

Sunday, November 15th | at HUM 5:30-7:00pm

$40 or $35 for HUM members

Your shoulders are involved in almost everything you do, from reaching and lifting to typing and driving. Add long hours of sitting and everyday stress, and it’s no surprise that the shoulders, neck, and upper back commonly hold tension.

Join Ashley Vasas in this 90-minute workshop, where you’ll explore how your shoulders move, where you're carrying tension, and what helps you find greater freedom and ease. Using functional movement, yoga postures and stretching, and targeted deep-tissue release with therapy balls, we’ll work with the shoulders, chest, upper back, and neck with curiosity rather than force.

We’ll close with an extended Savasana, giving your nervous system time to settle and your body space to absorb the work, so you leave feeling grounded, spacious, and reset.

This class is $40 or $35 for members. Space is limited to 10 people so please register in advance to reserve your spot. Our events are thoughtfully prepared and led by passionate facilitators. To respect their time and commitment, tickets are non-refundable. All levels are welcome.

Sounds of Himalaya: A Meditative Sound Experience with ShaamaahS

Thursday, December 3rd | at HUM | 6:00-7:30pm

$50 or $45 for HUM members

We’re deeply honored and so fortunate to have ShaamaahS back to HUM to guide us through this immersive sound experience! ShaamaahS is a project developed to perform a unique style of ambient music involving Tuvan Throat Singing, Evocative Mantra, Bansuri Flute, and Subtle Symphonic Soundscapes.

Sound Meditation is very prominent these days, and it can help us achieve focus and rediscover our inner awareness. As humans we are walking energy, vibrating at multiple frequencies. This “Oscillating Prana” performance engages the subtle energy body and allows for a person to truly immerse themselves with the music, simply by being present with it. In a world full of distraction, sound offers a powerful way to ground, refocus, and return to your own wisdom.

Whether you're new to sound healing or a longtime seeker, this evening is a chance to pause, listen deeply, and honor the teacher within. We’ll have blankets, bolsters, blocks, and mats available for you to get comfortable. Feel free to bring anything from home to help you settle in even more.

This class event is $50 or $45 for our members. Space is limited and registration is required. Our events are thoughtfully prepared and led by passionate facilitators. To respect their time and commitment, tickets are non-refundable. All levels are welcome.

We’re always looking for ways to collaborate with our community. Fill out the form below to share your workshop or event idea and learn more about partnering with HUM!
